Beowulf will roar to life at BMCC Tribeca PAC on Thursday, October 26.  Awarded a fellowship funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, Beowulf: A Tale of Monsters and Men, is written, directed, and performed by Chris Vinsonhaler, a professional storyteller and Professor of English at BMCC. This performance with Anglo-Saxon harp has received rave reviews for revealing a Beowulf that “bristles with an energy and enthusiasm that is both captivating and infectious.” Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., and the performance begins at 6:30 p.m. This one-hour performance is designed for a general audience. The event is free and open to adults and young adults only (ages 12 and up only).The performance will also feature Bryan Fitzgerald as Grendel and Shyendra Chandrasena as Beowulf.
