Keith Hurd has been marketing live entertainment for 20 years on Broadway, Off Broadway, in concerts and was the Marketing Director for one of the most challenging shows in history, SPIDER-MAN Turn off the Dark. Keith’s work on SPIDER-MAN, which included creating press worthy promotions and managing the marketing and PR campaigns for three outside agencies, resulted in a $2.9 million week: the all-time box office record in Broadway history. Keith won the peer-nominated Broadway Marketing Award for Best Promotion.

Keith recently co-produced seven half-hour TV specials, Broadway Profiles airing on WPIX Ch. 11 (2015-16) and was Executive Producer for The Broadway Channel from 2003-2015. Keith’s promotion of The Lord of the Rings concerts at Lincoln Center last year helped sell out seven sold out performances at 17,000 seats. He promoted The Illusionists on Broadway 2015, 2016 and was Head of Promotions for The Marvel Experience tour. He served as the Marketing Director for Off Broadway hit Fuerza Bruta for four years and the successful run of Potted Potter.

Prior to this Keith was the Producer & Co-booker at Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency for four years promoting acts such as Chita Rivera, Crystal Gayle, Bebe Neuwirth, Lynda Carter, Lea Michele, Ben Vereen, Betty Buckley, Linda Eder, Brooke Shields, Donny Osmond, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Diahann Carroll, Tovah Feldshuh, Michael Feinstein and Ashford & Simpson.

Other Broadway Marketing & Promotion credits include: Liza Minnelli at the Palace, A Night with Janis Joplin, Billy Joel’s Movin’ Out, The Producers, Kiss Me Kate, Swing, Proof, Ragtime, Fosse, Jackie Mason, Noises Off, Tale of The Allergist’s Wife, Jekyll & Hyde, Edward Albee’s The Goat, Take Me Out, Victor/Victoria with Julie Andrews and Liza Minnelli and Damn Yankees. Keith began his NY career as the executive assistant for legendary producer Alexander H. Cohen on Night of 100 Stars (NBC-TV) and followed that by producing two benefit concerts honoring Kander & Ebb featuring Liza Minnelli, Chita Rivera, Rosie O’Donnell and the Chicago Cast (Drama League & PBS/MTW). He soon thereafter raised money for the Broadway revival Damn Yankees starring Bebe Neuwirth, Victor Garber and Jerry Lewis and became the Marketing Director for that production.

Keith has promoted the NY engagements of concert pianist Lang Lang at Carnegie Hall (2013) & Lang Lang with the Shanghai Philharmonic in Central Park for CAMI Music. He was Executive Producer of Nights on Broadway I & II for Caesar’s Palace & Casino.
He received the Distinguished Service Award for Fine Arts and Humanities from Binghamton University in 2003, The Music Faculty Award from Binghamton in 1989 and a Bachelor of Arts in Music as well as Romance Languages and Literature.

Keith also studied at La Sorbonne University in Paris for one year.
