MARIO GIACALONE – Mario Giacalone is a singer/songwriter, actor, and director, who has been performing since the early 70’s. Mr. Giacalone recorded as an original member of The Human Condition, and continues to write songs and sing both as a solo artist and with acts including Mario Brothers, Giacalone and Sard, and Croton Landing. For the past nine years he has directed the Writers in Performance workshop and performance at Tribeca Performing Arts Center.
BEV GRANT – Winner of the 2017 ASCAP Jay Gorney songwriter award and the 2017 Joe Hill Award, Bev Grant grew up singing and playing in Portland, Oregon, where she began her performing career as a child in a band with her two sisters. After moving to New York City, she devoted herself to topical songwriting and social activism, notably in her band The Human Condition. Bev is featured on the Grammy-nominated Best of Broadside album and is the founder and director of the Brooklyn Women’s Chorus. Her song “We Were There” has become an anthem of women in the labor movement, and many other of her award-winning songs can be found on her numerous recordings.
LINDSEY WILSON – Lindsey Wilson is a singer-songwriter known originally for folk music who has moved into free jazz over the past couple of years with her band Lindsey Wilson and the Human Hearts Trio, featuring Michael Trotman (bass) and Reggie Sylvester (drums).
JOSHUA GARCIA – Joshua Garcia is a Folk-Singer-Songwriter whose music and writing style draw from the influences of his musical heroes Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, and Johnny Cash. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Joshua now resides in Astoria, Queens.
