Box Office Manager
BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center is seeking a Box Office Manager to start immediately.
The Box Office Manager reports to the Operations Director.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supervising day to day operation of box office including scheduling and training of personnel.
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of computerized systems in Box Office.
• Establishing a ticketing plan for every event.
• Responsible for mail, internet, phone, fax and window ticket sales.
• Verifying cash receipts, delayed payments from ticket outlets, financial records and reports, event reconciliation, deposits and audit information to Business Manager.
• Handling special sales, groups, comps, papering, etc.
• Supervising use of cash boxes.
• Maintaining inventory of stock and supplies.
• Distributing ticket fact sheets on all events, including web info.
• Maintaining mailing list/database.
Qualifications: BA required. Minimum two years experience required with computer ticketing system in multi-venue facility. Supervisory experience required. Must be well organized and computer literate with knowledge of MS Office. Strong communication skills are essential.
Salary will be high 20s – low 30s depending upon experience.

Box Office Assistant
BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center is seeking a Box Office Assistant to start immediately. Qualified candidates must have an excellent telephone manner, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task. Other necessary qualifications include strong computer proficiency, being detail oriented, and being a team player.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Answering phone calls and assist patrons with ticket purchases
• Retrieving messages and make follow up calls
• Printing will call tickets on the day of shows
• Daily reconciliation of box office income
• Updating patron information
• Managing office supply and ticket inventory
• And other duties as assigned
Performing Arts Box Office experience a plus, but will train the right candidate.
Hourly rate will be $10 for this part-time position. Normal Box Office hours are Noon – 6PM, Tuesday – Saturday. Successful candidates will work a minimum of 20 hours a week with additional night and weekend hours during the Season.

Operations Assistant
BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center is seeking an Operations Assistant to start immediately. Qualified candidates will have good organizational skills and ability to keep track of multiple details on varying projects. Must have good telephone, internet and email skills. Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Lotus, and a basic familiarity with technical theater are required.
Job duties will include but are not limited to: creating OTPS (Other Than Personnel Services) budget documents, communicating with vendors, coordinating department purchasing needs, providing administrative support, word processing and filing, and assisting with receptionist duties in main office. May be required to do some hands-on work on productions in the theaters.
Hourly rate will be $10-12 (depending upon experience and education), and the position will require an average of twenty hours a week. Opportunities may be available for additional, separately contracted work in production, technical and front-of-house areas.

Interns
Tribeca Performing Arts Center interns work in many areas of theatrical production, including education, development, marketing, play development, executive director’s office, and production. A modest stipend is offered for a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week for a period of 3-6 months.
