International Affair Dance Company presents “Silent Film” at Tribeca PAC on May 21st. Six incredible dancers will take you on a unique journey back in time revisiting the old black & white silent movie era, with their signature mix of street style and club dance culture, such as waacking, locking and house dance.

International Affair Dance Company, founded by choreographer Miki Tuesday in 2016, is a collaboration between street style dancers with different backgrounds in hip hop, house, tap, contemporary, popping and waacking. The dancers come from all over the world: Italy, France, Switzerland and Japan. International Affair has performed at the Apollo Theater, Winter Follies, Boogieland Central Showcase, Phoenix Rising, Get together, Holi hai Festival, Gowanus Expo, Local Produce Festival Ladies of Hip Hop Festival, BlakTinX Performance Series, Pmt Fall Dance Series, Dance EXposure, Sybarite, Pmt Spring Dance Series, Museum of Sex, and more.
International Affair Dance Company’s residency at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center is part of the CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI), which receives major support from The Mertz Gilmore Foundation and Howard Gilman Foundation. Additional support is provided by the Jerome Robbins Foundation, SHS Foundation, Harkness Foundation for Dance, and an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
