Gary Gulman: Grandiloquent - Special taping @ Tribeca Performing Arts Center

Grandiloquent is Gary Gulman’s hilarious new show about insecurity, empathy, self-acceptance and how a thoughtful boy learned to use humor, reading and writing to cope with the consequences of his parents’ blunders. Learn why a seemingly confident middle-aged man feels most comfortable in a large room where a thousand strangers are laughing at him.

Over 30 years in comedy, Gary Gulman has established himself as an eminent performer and peerless writer.  A product of Boston, Gulman has been a scholarship college football player, an accountant, and a high school teacher. He has made countless television appearances as both a comedian and an actor.

Gulman has made five masterful TV specials including his most recent universally acclaimed stand-up specials for HBO Max, Born on 3rd Base, lending his meticulous comedic craft to the current Tale of Two Cities-esque wealth gap, and The Great Depresh, a tour de force look at mental illness, which is equal parts hilarious and inspiring.

Gary made his off-broadway debut with a 5 week sold out run at The Lucille Lortel Theatre of his critically acclaimed one man show, Grandiloquent directed by Tony Award winner Mortiz von Stuelpnagel and produced by Mike & Carlee Productions (Oh Mary).

Clifford The Big Red Dog: The Musical (Schools Only Event) @ Tribeca Performing Arts Center
Everyone’s favorite Big Red Dog, CLIFFORD– bounds onto the stage in a brand-new musical comedy adventure that celebrates friendship, imagination and the magic of unconditional love! Emily Elizabeth absolutely adores her new puppy – the tiny red runt of the litter. But when her GIANT love makes Clifford grow into a GIANT, the family must trade their cramped city apartment for a home on Birdwell Island – where folks aren’t so sure about a house-sized, playful pup. Worried his colossal clumsiness is keeping Emily Elizabeth from making friends, Clifford wishes he never grew so big – and it works! He enjoys a fur-tastic small-dog-sized day… until his adventurous BFF and her new island friends get stuck in a place from which only a BIG red dog can save them. Clifford The Big Red Dog: The Musical is full of extra-large laughs, joy and love – the paw-fect show for Clifford’s growing young fans – and nostalgic parents who remember him too.
