ntrance: For this event, patrons will be entering through the West Street Gate – between Chambers Street and Harrison Street. Go to 190 West St., New York, NY 10013, and walk 200 feet north to the West Street Gate Entrance.  Do not enter at our usual address on Chambers; Please go around the corner to West Street.  Covid Policy: Masks are optional. If you are feeling any COVID-related or flu-like symptoms on the day of the show, please stay home, or seek medical attention, and be safe.The Writers in Performance workshop is designed to give writers (playwrights, poets, monologists, writers of prose, or spoken word artists) the opportunity to explore performing their written pieces. Workshop participants are chosen on the strength of their writing plus either performance ability, or willingness to explore that aspect of creativity. The workshop mixes professionals with students.

Professional actor, director and teacher, Mario Giacalone, is the Facilitator and Director of the Writers in Performance program. Giacalone has taught acting in New York City for over twenty years and has directed both stage and film.
