Russell Leto CPA serves as Chief Financial Officer and is a partner of the firm. He joined Permanens Capital in 2012 and has over 16 years of experience in the financial industry. Previously, he served as Director of Operations and Finance at EIM Management USA, a $14.5 billion fund of funds specializing in custom portfolios. At EIM, Mr. Leto was responsible for all aspects of back office, corporate accounting, and reporting. Prior to EIM, Mr. Leto was a Senior Auditor at BDO USA, LLP, where he worked in the Financial Services Department. Subsequently, Mr. Leto was a Fund Controller at the high yield asset management firm, Muzinich & Co. Mr. Leto holds a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York College at Oswego, where he also was captain of the men’s varsity lacrosse team. He is the fourth all-time leading scorer, holds the school record in assists and was a first team All-ECAC Attackman from 1996-1997. He is a licensed CPA and formerly held Series 27 license in the State of New York.
